Perceptive Polygraph is owned and operated by Polygraph Examiner Frank Watler. He is a graduate of the Marston Polygraph Academy, an American Polygraph Association (APA) accredited school, located in San Bernardino, California. He is a fully-insured, certified polygraph examiner, and is also APA certified to conduct Post Conviction Sexual Offender Treatment (PCSOT) polygraph examinations. Examiner Watler is a full member of the American Polygraph Association, the American Association of Police Polygraphists (AAPP), the California Association of Polygraph Examiners (CAPE), and the National Polygraph Association (NPA). Examiner Watler is also a Certified Polygraph Examiner (#172) of CAPE, and a Certified Forensic Law Enforcement Polygraph Examiner (#5055) of the AAPP.
Examiner Watler was a former Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff, and is an honorably retired Supervising District Attorney Investigator of the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. As such, he has many years of investigative experience. In his law enforcement career he worked a myriad of cases, including but not limited to: Homicides, Public Corruption, Justice System Integrity, Rape, Child Abuse, Officer Involved Shootings, Special Investigations, Fraud, Grand Theft, Domestic Violence, Auto Theft, Skip Tracing, Asset Investigations, Suspect/Witness/Victim Locates, and Background Investigations.
Examiner Watler has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice - Law Enforcement, and a California Private Investigator license (CA Lic. # PI 28007). Prior to his law enforcement career, Examiner Watler also served honorably as a United States Marine Corps Officer.
